No path is lonelier.

You are a person under relentless scrutiny.

You are reviled by the world because you are too small.

You are rejected by your own because they remember when you wasn't shit.

The reality is that a priest's vision, his mission, excludes the agendas and machinations of the strangers.

A priest's affections shatters the illusions of loved ones; our hearts belong to God and the Spirits and it is only the God and Spirit in them that merits our devotion.
